• A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Technical degree or apprenticeship certification is a plus.
• MN Special Engineer Boiler License or higher is strongly preferred.
• 3–5 years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment is required.
• Strong mechanical, troubleshooting, and reading of measuring devices abilities are essential.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance such as lubricating, measuring runout, calibrating dials, aligning components, and observing operations, vibrations, and noise.
• Complete emergency/breakdown maintenance as needed to support plant operations.
• Perform electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, steam system, and other repairs and installations.
• Maintain clean and organized work areas and maintain maintenance records and paperwork.
• Work independently and as part of a team while following all safety rules.

Position Title:

Maintenance Technician

Pay Rate:

$33.05/hr - $39.61/hr

Sign-on Bonus:

$1000 after 30 days

$500 after 6 months

$500 after 1 year

The Job You Will Perform:

• Perform preventative maintenance activities such as lubricating, measuring run out, calibrating dials, aligning components, and observing operations, vibrations, and noise level
• Complete emergency/break down maintenance as necessary to support plant operations
• Perform electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, steam system, and other repairs and installations
• Accurately use measurement and test equipment
• Maintain clean and organized work areas and cleaning up work areas as part of completing assigned tasks
• Accurately and completely prepare and maintain maintenance records and other paperwork
• Work independently as well as part of a team
• Follow all safety rules and practices
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervision

The Skills You Will Bring:

• Ability to work with a safety first mindset and actively participate in our safety culture
• Must be 18 years or older
• High school diploma or equivalent
• 3-5 years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment
• Highly-qualified candidates would possess a technical degree or apprenticeship certification
• MN Special Engineer Boiler License or higher strongly preferred
• Strong mechanical skills and aptitude
• Strong troubleshooting skills
• Skilled in pneumatics, electrical, PLC, and hydraulics
• Ability to accurately use and read a variety of measuring devices
• Well-rounded electrical, mechanical and machine shop skills and experience
• Written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work overtime as needed
