A leading staffing firm is hiring Maintenance Technicians located in Edina, MN.   • Perform maintenance in the areas of fluid power, pneumatics, PLC's, and mechanical and electrical systems.

Responsibilities:

Maintenance Technicians are responsible for routine and non-routine maintenance activities on the sites' manufacturing and process equipment. Daily tasks include performing maintenance in the areas of fluid power, pneumatics, PLC's, mechanical and electrical systems and working with scheduling and planning software. Technicians coordinate troubleshooting efforts and strive to implement improvements with operations and engineers as needed to assure the day to day site operation.

  • physically able to use standard safety equipment which is rated for 300 pounds or less.
  • have a valid U.S driver's license.
  • A minimum requirement for this U.S. based position is the ability to work legally in the United States on a permanent
  • basis (U.S. citizen, U.S. Permanent Resident, or Qualifying Asylee/Refugee).
Preferred Qualifications
  • PLC experience
  • Electrical experience
Education
  • A High School Diploma or GED is required.
In addition, we require one the following:
  • An Associates or Higher degree in a related field
  • 4+ years of relevant work experience
  • 4+ years training in the military (e.g. electronics, maintenance, computers)
  • A degree in Process Technology or Process Automation is an asset.
  • A certification in Process Technology is an asset.
