Job summary

Aerotek in Saint Charles, MO seeks a Maintenance Technician to perform preventative maintenance, diagnostics, and repair of machinery, hydraulics, and utilities, with focus on hydraulic and servo-driven equipment.

You will work with the maintenance lead on troubleshooting, safety, and HVAC/facilities tasks in a Monday–Friday schedule, onsite with potential for temp-to-hire and competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience ideal; candidates with less experience considered if they have hydraulic and pneumatic experience.
• Maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Industrial hydraulic equipment experience.
• DMS/CNC machine maintenance experience, including spindle and other CNC component repairs.
• 480V electrical experience.

Responsibilities

• Assist Maintenance Lead with troubleshooting and hydraulic repairs.
• Handle primary responsibilities for machinery preventative maintenance.
• Perform maintenance on hydraulic equipment, servo-driven machines, and some PLCs.
• Execute facilities maintenance tasks including plumbing, electrical, and HVAC systems.
• Perform fabrication maintenance and repairs on milling machines, heat treat ovens, walk-in freezers, hydraulic presses, air compressors, and vacuum pumps.
• Install and repair pneumatic and hydraulic systems under the guidance of the Maintenance Supervisor.
• Perform routine preventive maintenance tasks throughout the facility.

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician who will apply best practices and procedures in preventative maintenance, inspection, diagnostics, and repair of equipment, machinery, buildings, and utilities. The ideal candidate will assist the maintenance lead with troubleshooting and hydraulic repairs, focusing primarily on machinery preventative maintenance, as machine operators do not handle these tasks. Work Environment

You will work alongside a team of maintenance professionals, with guidance from lead staff. The role is based in a Monday to Friday schedule from 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM, with some flexibility possible. Be prepared to interact with colleagues on the floor and supervisors regularly. The team values a strong work ethic and a thick skin, but does not tolerate rude or unprofessional behavior.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Saint Charles, MO.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $26.00 - $30.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
