Job summary

AMDG Holdings LLC is seeking a full-time maintenance technician at Mulford Park, a centralized group of 14 buildings in Rockford, IL. The role involves general upkeep, repairs (electrical, plumbing, carpentry, furnaces, toilets), and unit turnover including flooring and painting.

Hours are 8am–5pm, Monday to Friday, with occasional on-call weeks. Training in HVAC/boiler-related fields is provided on the job to support on-site maintenance and safety.

Qualifications

• Maintenance technicians need a variety of skills and traits, including problem-solving, broad technical knowledge, attention to detail, and physical ability.

Responsibilities

• Perform equipment maintenance and routine/ emergency repairs to fixtures, fittings, and equipment including machinery, plumbing, heating, and wiring.
• Conduct regular building inspections to ensure safety standards and address reported issues.
• Develop and implement preventive maintenance procedures for machinery and mechanical equipment.
• Manage inventory of equipment parts and supplies: check stock and place orders.
• Handle work orders, communicate with supervisors and residents, and coordinate with teams.
• Other tasks as needed by the property management.

We are looking for a full-time maintenance technician at Mulford Park. The property is a centralized group of 14 buildings.

Maintenance Technician would be responsible for performing general upkeep and maintenance in apartments and apartment buildings. Including doing repairs such as electrical, plumbing, carpentry, furnaces, toilets, etc... and turning over units, including, flooring, painting, cleaning etc..

Duties may include:

• Equipment maintenance
• Performing routine and emergency repairs to fixtures, fittings, and equipment, such as machinery, plumbing, heating, and wiring
• Building inspections
• Regularly inspecting buildings to ensure safety standards and respond to reports of broken or faulty items
• Preventive maintenance
• Developing and implementing preventive maintenance procedures, such as completing preventive maintenance on machinery and mechanical equipment
• Inventory management
• Maintaining inventories of equipment parts and supplies, including checking stock and placing orders
• Communication
• Handling work orders, dealing with incoming work requests, and communicating with supervisors and residents
• Other tasks as needed

Maintenance technicians need a variety of skills and traits, including: Problem-solving skills, Broad technical knowledge, Attention to detail, and Physical ability.

Technicians will have access to technical hands-on training in HVAC/boiler related fields on the job.
