Job summary

HRM Services in Marshall, MO is seeking a Full Time Maintenance Technician to preserve the condition and functionality of affordable housing properties. The role requires autonomy in a fast-paced, detail-oriented environment.

You will perform preventive maintenance, repair mechanical systems, replace light bulbs, inspect alarm systems, and assist with HVAC tasks, plumbing, painting, and general upkeep. Must be able to lift 90 lbs and stand up to 8 hours.

Qualifications

• Maintenance experience preferred and detail oriented.
• Basic technology skills with smartphone/computer.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred; HVAC/maintenance certificates add value.
• CMRP certification is desired.

Responsibilities

• Survey buildings and repair mechanical systems to health and safety standards.
• Maintain/install systems, replace bulbs and repair panels; assist in setup and repairs.
• Navigate smartphone and electronic work orders.
• Inspect alarm systems and schedule repairs when needed.
• Perform manual repairs (locks/windows) and various maintenance tasks.
• Carry out painting, HVAC troubleshooting, janitorial, landscaping, snow removal as needed.
• Lift up to 90 lbs and stand for up to 8 hours.

Full Time Maintenance Technician

We are looking for a Full Time Maintenance Technician to undertake the responsibility of preserving the good condition and functionality of affordable housing properties. The ideal candidate will be able to work autonomously and responsibly in a fast paced and detailed environment.

8 hour shift Monday to Friday

Starting Pay

$18 per hour

Experience

• Maintenance experience is preferred
• Detail oriented
• Basic technology (smart phone/computer)
• Organizational skills
• Basic understanding of electrical, hydraulic and other systems
• Knowledge of general maintenance processes and methods
• Working knowledge of tools, common appliances and devices
• Manual dexterity and problem-solving skills
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Certificate in HVAC, building maintenance technology or relevant field will be a plus
• Certified Maintenance and Reliability Professional (CMRP) is desired

Responsibilities include:

• Survey buildings and repair mechanical systems to ensure they are consistent with health and safety standards
• Perform maintenance and installation of systems (replace light bulbs and sockets, clean and repair circuit breaker panels, change filter furnaces etc.), assist in setup of systems and conduct repairs when necessary, maintain heating and plumbing systems to ensure functionality
• Ability to navigate smart phone, electronic work orders
• Inspect alarm systems (fire, protection) and schedule repairs when needed
• Perform manual repairs when necessary (fix locks, replace windows etc.)
• Willing to perform a variety of maintenance tasks including painting, HVAC troubleshooting, janitorial, inspections, landscaping, snow removal, etc.
• ability to lift up to 90lbs and stand for up to 8 hours
