Job description
Position Summary
We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician with strong electrical and industrial maintenance experience to support CNC equipment, robotic systems, hydraulic test stands, and facility systems in a manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will have experience troubleshooting mechanical, hydraulic, CNC and electrical systems while maintaining a safe and efficient work environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of CNC machines and robotic equipment
- Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues on hydraulic test stands and facility equipment
- Maintain and repair AC/DC electrical systems, including motors, facility wiring, and basic electronics
- Troubleshoot medium- and high-voltage electrical circuits and related equipment
- Install, maintain, and repair pneumatic, plumbing, compressed air, and water systems
- Perform mechanical and electrical repairs on facility and production equipment
- Fabricate or repair components using power tools, welding equipment, grinders, pipe threading tools, and conduit benders
- Complete basic building maintenance, including repairs to doors, windows, lighting, security, and environmental systems
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings
- Maintain clean and organized work areas in accordance with 5S standards
- Work collaboratively within a team environment while maintaining a positive attitude
- Work overtime and Saturdays as required
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of industrial manufacturing maintenance experience
- Minimum 3 years of experience working with electrical equipment
- Experience troubleshooting and repairing CNC equipment
- Strong understanding of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems
- Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical prints
- Welding and fabrication experience preferred
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment
Education & Experience
Advanced technical education or trade school certification preferred
Manufacturing or assembly environment experience preferred
Physical Requirements
- Ability to frequently lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and stoop throughout the workday
Preferred Skills
- Strong electrical background
- Experience with robotics and automated manufacturing equipment
- Knowledge of facility maintenance systems and preventive maintenance practices
