Concentric AB in Rockford, IL is seeking a Maintenance Technician with strong electrical and industrial maintenance experience to support CNC equipment, robotics, hydraulic test stands and facility systems. The role emphasizes troubleshooting mechanical, hydraulic, CNC and electrical systems in a safe, efficient environment.

The candidate will be responsible for diagnosing issues, reading blueprints, and performing both mechanical and electrical repairs.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of industrial manufacturing maintenance experience.
• Minimum 3 years of experience working with electrical equipment.
• Experience troubleshooting and repairing CNC equipment.
• Strong understanding of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of CNC machines and robotic equipment.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues on hydraulic test stands and facility equipment.
• Maintain and repair AC/DC electrical systems, including motors, facility wiring, and basic electronics.
• Troubleshoot medium- and high-voltage electrical circuits and related equipment.
• Install, maintain, and repair pneumatic, plumbing, compressed air, and water systems.
• Perform mechanical and electrical repairs on facility and production equipment.
• Fabricate or repair components using power tools, welding equipment, grinders, pipe threading tools, and conduit benders.
• Complete basic building maintenance, including repairs to doors, windows, lighting, security, and environmental systems.
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.
• Maintain clean and organized work areas in accordance with 5S standards.
• Work collaboratively within a team environment while maintaining a positive attitude.

Position Summary

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician with strong electrical and industrial maintenance experience to support CNC equipment, robotic systems, hydraulic test stands, and facility systems in a manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will have experience troubleshooting mechanical, hydraulic, CNC and electrical systems while maintaining a safe and efficient work environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of CNC machines and robotic equipment
• Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues on hydraulic test stands and facility equipment
• Maintain and repair AC/DC electrical systems, including motors, facility wiring, and basic electronics
• Troubleshoot medium- and high-voltage electrical circuits and related equipment
• Install, maintain, and repair pneumatic, plumbing, compressed air, and water systems
• Perform mechanical and electrical repairs on facility and production equipment

• Work overtime and Saturdays as required

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of industrial manufacturing maintenance experience
• Minimum 3 years of experience working with electrical equipment
• Experience troubleshooting and repairing CNC equipment
• Strong understanding of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems
• Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical prints
• Welding and fabrication experience preferred
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment

Education & Experience

Advanced technical education or trade school certification preferred

Manufacturing or assembly environment experience preferred

Physical Requirements

• Ability to frequently lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and stoop throughout the workday

Preferred Skills

• Strong electrical background
• Experience with robotics and automated manufacturing equipment
• Knowledge of facility maintenance systems and preventive maintenance practices
