The ideal candidate has a strong mechanical background with experience supporting CNC equipment, PLC-controlled machinery, robotics, hydraulics, pneumatics, motors, VFDs, conveyors, and other automated production systems.

You will work closely with production, maintenance, and engineering teams to maximize equipment reliability, reduce downtime, and support the installation and commissioning of new equipment and production systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair CNC-based production equipment and automated machinery.
  • Troubleshoot complex mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical, and electromechanical systems.
  • Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on production machinery, conveyors, pumps, compressors, gearboxes, motors, and rotating equipment.
  • Troubleshoot and maintain PLC-controlled manufacturing equipment.
  • Support FANUC robotic cells, including safety circuits, sensors, controls, and end-of-arm tooling.
  • Diagnose mechanical failures and determine appropriate corrective actions.
  • Rebuild and overhaul machinery and components to OEM specifications.
  • Perform machinery installation, alignment, dismantling, balancing, and vibration-related maintenance.
  • Troubleshoot presses, CNC machines, conveyors, and auxiliary manufacturing equipment.
  • Work with VFDs, motors, servos, encoders, and motor-control systems.
  • Replace bearings, seals, belts, chains, motors, and other mechanical components.
  • Perform welding, cutting, fabrication, and basic machining as required.
  • Read and interpret mechanical and electrical blueprints, schematics, ladder logic, technical drawings, manuals, and machine documentation.
  • Use precision measuring equipment, gauges, meters, and hand/power tools.
  • Support equipment installations, production-line moves, process changes, and new equipment commissioning.
  • Partner with engineering teams on equipment upgrades and production improvements.
  • Identify recurring equipment failures and recommend corrective actions to improve reliability and uptime.
  • Perform emergency repairs to minimize production interruptions.
  • Complete and document preventative maintenance activities and equipment repairs within the CMMS.
  • Maintain appropriate maintenance supplies, spare parts, and vendor relationships.
  • Support Continuous Improvement initiatives and equipment-related process improvements.
  • Assist with training and development of maintenance team members.
  • Follow all applicable safety procedures, including Lockout/Tagout, hot work, confined-space, and elevated-work requirements.
Required Qualifications

  • Minimum of 2+ years of industrial or manufacturing maintenance experience.
  • Hands-on experience working with electrical systems ranging from low voltage through 480V.
  • Experience troubleshooting PLC-controlled industrial equipment.
  • Strong mechanical troubleshooting capabilities.
  • Working knowledge of hydraulics and pneumatics.
  • Ability to troubleshoot both power and control systems.
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, ladder logic, one-line diagrams, blueprints, and machine documentation.
  • Experience working safely around industrial machinery and automated production equipment.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with maintenance, engineering, and production teams.
  • Ability to follow established safety procedures and regulatory requirements.
Preferred Qualifications
  • 5+ years of industrial or manufacturing maintenance experience.
  • Experience supporting CNC machining equipment.
  • Experience with FANUC robotics or robotic welding systems.
