Job summary

McDonald’s Corporation is hiring qualified maintenance technicians to service multiple stores in the Rock Hill area. You will diagnose and repair kitchen equipment, refrigeration, HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems, while performing general maintenance and on-site installations.

• EPA Universal Certification required.
• General electrical knowledge required.
• General plumbing knowledge required.
• Light carpentry experience preferred.
• General maintenance and repair knowledge.
• Self-transportation is required.
• Work weeks consist of 40 hours (variable).
• Alternating emergency on-call duty may be required.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair commercial cooking kitchen equipment, refrigeration, and HVAC systems.
• Perform building repair and maintenance.
• Carry out planned maintenance and equipment upkeep (ice machines, cooking equipment, facility equipment).
• Communicate status updates for parts/orders and repairs with store and supervisor.
• Complete service calls accurately and timely.
• Perform intermediate-level equipment and accessory installations.
• Educate managers and staff on basic troubleshooting and maintenance.

Job description

Qualified maintenance technicians are needed with the following experience, skills, and availability:

• HVAC Certification

• Self-Transportation is Required

• 40 Hours Per Week (variable)

• Alternating Emergency On Call

Work-Load Expectancies (All job duties are not listed, 3-6 Stores)

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair commercial cooking kitchen equipment, refrigeration, and/or HVAC

• Building repair and maintenance

• Planned maintenance and equipment upkeep (Ice machines, cooking equipment, facility equipment, etc)

• Communicate status updates for part order(s) and repairs with store and direct supervisor.

• Complete service calls accurately and timely

• Perform intermediate-level equipment and accessory installations

• Educate managers and other restaurant employees on how to maintain and troubleshoot basic issues
