Job summary

Artcraft Management, Inc. in Richmond, VA, is seeking a Maintenance Technician to keep our communities operating at their best through quality repairs and resident service.

You will handle service requests, HVAC/plumbing/electrical tasks, apartment turns, and preventive maintenance, with on‑call rotation. A valid Virginia driver's license and safety-conscious approach are required; we offer competitive pay and opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED, or 1–3 months related experience/training, or equivalent combination.
• HVAC certification Types 1 and 2 required.
• Possession of valid Virginia Driver's License and proof of insurance.
• Must possess mechanical aptitude and follow OSHA & company safety rules.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED), or one to three months related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Certificates, licenses and registrations required:
• Technical training in one or more trades, and HVAC certification, Types 1 and 2. Possession of valid Virginia Driver's License and proof of insurance.
• Other skills required:
  • Must possess mechanical aptitude.
  • Must follow safety rules and regulations according to established OSHA and Artcraft Management, Inc. guidelines.

• Additional remarks regarding work environment: The employee is regularly in a shop environment with adequate light, moderate noise levels and ventilation; however this job may require the employee to work in potentially hazardous areas such as enclosed spaces, roof tops, heights above 6' and be exposed to outdoor elements of wind rain and summer heat. Frequent and regular repetitive movements required using wrists, hands, and/or fingers.
