Job summary

Wingate Management Company in Providence, RI is seeking a hands-on Maintenance Technician to oversee and perform routine maintenance at our Providence property. The role requires practical experience across plumbing, electrical, and HVAC systems and a proactive approach to resident comfort and safety.

You'll work a full-time schedule Monday through Friday, 8:00am to 5:00pm, with competitive pay and a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, and retirement plan.

Qualifications

• 1+ years experience as a Maintenance Technician.
• Computer proficiency is a plus.
• HVAC knowledge is a plus, particularly with boilers and heating systems.
• Experience with general plumbing, electrical troubleshooting, apartment turnovers, and preventative maintenance is essential.

Responsibilities

• Complete repairs across plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and general maintenance.
• Prepare apartments for new residents (turnovers).
• Maintain grounds, common areas, and equipment.
• Identify and resolve maintenance issues proactively.
• Coordinate with vendors and safely use tools/equipment.

Pay: $22.00 to $24.00 / hour
Schedule: Full-Time | Monday to Friday - 8:00am to 5:00pm
