Your responsibilities

Inspect, diagnose, repair, and perform preventive maintenance on machinery and mechanical equipment. Perform various facilities maintenance activities.

Job Description

Key Accountabilities:

1. Establish appropriate frequency and perform regular preventive maintenance activities on all equipment in the facility as requested
2. Perform timely facility/building maintenance and minor repairs, and maintain a clean and safe work area
3. Dismantle defective equipment and install new or repaired equipment
4. Maintain accurate records of all inspections, tests, and repairs, and work performed
5. Coordinate and make recommendations on work-related contracts and services
6. Assist with outside contractors when needed for mechanical and electrical repairs and maintenance
7. Participate, support, and comply with all health, safety, quality, and Lean initiatives and requirements

Qualifications:

Minimum Requirements:

• This position requires access to export-controlled technical data or technology. Employment is contingent upon obtaining any required export authorization from the appropriate government agency or agencies.
• When export authorization is necessary, the length of time to obtain the authorization by the government is outside of the Company's control.
• Demonstrate mechanical and technical aptitude
• 3-5 years experience in an industrial, maintenance environment or related field
• Good interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to understand, perform, and document preventive and corrective maintenance activities.

Preferred Requirements:

• College degree or certificate in a technical area or related field
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and shop drawings
• Experience troubleshooting and diagnosing electrical, mechanical, and related issues on machinery and equipment, with a proven ability to perform timely and effective repairs.
