J.C. Hart Company, Inc. is seeking a motivated Maintenance Technician to join our team at a brand new lease up community in Plainfield, Indiana.

You will perform preventive and corrective maintenance on HVAC, electrical, plumbing, appliances, and general building systems to ensure resident satisfaction and property value. • Electrical panels and lighting maintenance
• Pools and pool equipment upkeep
• Appliances in apartments maintenance
• General plumbing
• General carpentry
• Electric motors, controls and auxiliary equipment maintenance
• Inspect apartments for appearance, cracks, wear; report repairs to the Maintenance Supervisor on site
• Inventory management and shop maintenance

Essential Functions

• HVAC equipment
• Electrical panels and protective wiring, including all property lighting
• Pools and pool equipment
• Appliances in apartments
• General plumbing
• General carpentry
• Electric motors, controls and auxiliary equipment
• Checks apartments for appearance and cleanliness, structural cracks, excessive wear and faulty parts and reports all needed repairs to the Maintenance Supervisor on site.
• Inventory Management and shop maintenance
