JCMLiving is seeking a diligent Maintenance Technician to keep our apartment communities in top condition. You will handle electrical, plumbing, HVAC, carpentry, drywall, and appliance repair to ensure safe, attractive homes for residents.

The role emphasizes reliability, customer service, and the ability to work with a team, contractors, and on-call rotations, while supporting overall property upkeep and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Experience in residential or apartment maintenance preferred.
• Working knowledge of electrical, plumbing, HVAC, carpentry, drywall, and appliance repair.
• Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
• Ability to lift heavy appliances and maintenance materials.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Reliable, professional, and customer-service oriented.

Responsibilities

• Complete service requests in occupied and vacant apartments.
• Repair and install appliances.
• Perform drywall, tile, painting, and flooring repairs.
• Troubleshoot and repair HVAC systems.
• Complete plumbing, electrical, and carpentry repairs.
• Perform preventative maintenance under the direction of the Maintenance Supervisor.
• Maintain community grounds, including landscaping and waste removal.
• Assist with masonry, sewer maintenance, and general property upkeep.
• Remove snow and ice as needed.
• Work collaboratively with contractors and fellow team members.
• Participate in an after-hours on-call rotation for emergency maintenance.
• Safely operate company vehicles, including golf carts, quads, and trucks.
• Properly and safely use maintenance tools and equipment.
• Follow all company safety procedures.
