Job summary

JCMLiving is seeking a Maintenance Technician to keep our apartments and community attractive and functional. You should have working knowledge of electric, plumbing, drywall, flooring, appliances, windows and locks, and hold a valid driver’s license to operate company vehicles.

Qualifications

• Working knowledge of electrical, plumbing, drywall, flooring and appliances.
• Comfort with repairing windows and door locks.
• Must have a valid driver's license and be able to drive company vehicles.

Responsibilities

• Complete maintenance requests within apartment community.
• Move and install appliances; perform tile, drywall and HVAC repairs.
• Snow removal as needed.
• Coordinate with contractors and team members.
• Carpentry, plumbing, electrical work, painting, cleaning and grounds keeping.
• Carry out preventative maintenance under supervision.
• Available for emergency repairs and after-hours on-call as required.
• Operate maintenance tools safely and maintain shop areas.

The Position

Maintenance Technician

Looking for a hard-working and knowledgeable technician to assist us to keep our apartments and community looking beautiful and functioning efficiently. The right candidate should have a working knowledge of electric, plumbing, drywall, flooring, appliances, windows and locks. We offer great working conditions and hours and excellent wages - paid vacation and sick time 16-25 PAID holidays per year!

Some responsibilities:

• Complete maintenance requests within apartment community
• Lifting of appliances, tile work, drywall work, appliance repair and installation, HVAC repairs
• Snow removal
• Perform and work together with contractors and all employees
• Carpentry, plumbing, light electrical, painting, refurbishing, cleaning, waste removal, heat and air-conditioning repair, masonry, grounds keeping, landscaping and sewer maintenance
• Carry out preventative maintenance program under the direction or Maintenance Supervisor
• Be available for emergency repairs and after-hour "on call" duty as required
• Must be capable of driving all company vehicles with valid driver's license (i.e. golf carts, quads and trucks)
• Capable of using all maintenance tolls
• Carrying out all maintenance duties safely that are required for this position
