J.C. Hart Company is seeking a motivated Maintenance Technician for a brand-new lease-up community in Plainfield, IN. The role focuses on HVAC, electrical, pool systems, and appliance maintenance to ensure top-notch resident living experiences.

You will be on-site, perform preventive and reactive maintenance, and contribute to a safety-conscious, customer-centric environment with opportunities for career growth and on-going training.

Qualifications

• Experience maintaining HVAC, electrical panels and pool equipment.
• Ability to inspect apartments for appearance, wear, and report repairs.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoots, maintains, and repairs HVAC equipment.
• Electrical panels and protective wiring, including property lighting.
• Pools and pool equipment maintenance.
• Appliances in apartments maintenance.
• Electric motors, controls and auxiliary equipment upkeep.
• Inventory management and shop maintenance.
• Deliver exceptional customer experience to residents and partners.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Troubleshoots, maintains, and repairs the following:

• HVAC equipment
• Electrical panels and protective wiring, including all property lighting
• Pools and pool equipment
• Appliances in apartments
• Electric motors, controls and auxiliary equipment
• Checks apartments for appearance and cleanliness, structural cracks, excessive wear and faulty parts and reports all needed repairs to the Maintenance Supervisor on site.
• Inventory Management and shop maintenance

• Delivers an exceptional customer experience, both internally and externally, as defined in our Company’s Engaging Vision of Customer Service.
• Establish rapport with Residents and provide personalized service.
• Handles Resident inquiries promptly and courteously.
