Pittsburgh Tomorrow in Pittsburgh is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our manufacturing team. You will diagnose, repair, and maintain CNC machinery, troubleshoot PLCs, read manuals, and collaborate with technicians to minimize downtime.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Maintenance Technician for a minimum of 3 years in the manufacturing industry.
• Extensive CNC troubleshooting and repair knowledge preferred.
• Solid understanding of PLCs and how to troubleshoot.
• Ability to read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance and service.
• Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot and repair issues efficiently and effectively.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with a commitment to sharing knowledge and learning from others.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine preventative maintenance to ensure that machines continue to run smoothly.
• Inspect, operate, and test machinery and equipment in order to diagnose machine malfunctions.
• Diagnose mechanical problems and determine how to correct them, checking blueprints, repair manuals, and parts catalogs as necessary.
• Repair or replace broken or malfunctioning components of machinery and equipment.
• Disassemble machinery and equipment to remove parts and make repairs.
• Troubleshoot and repair CNC machines, ensuring optimal performance and minimizing downtime.
• Monitor and adjust mechanical equipment and machines for optimal performance.
• Maintain records of each machine's maintenance and repair work to track and predict potential future issues.
• Collaborate closely with other team members and departments, sharing knowledge and learning from others to continuously improve our processes and machinery.
