Job summary

Merakey is seeking a Maintenance Technician to join our Facilities team, covering locations across the Greater Philadelphia region, including NJ and DE. You will perform a wide range of maintenance tasks, from carpentry and painting to HVAC and electrical repairs, while adhering to Merakey policies.

The role offers up to $24/hour pay, comprehensive benefits, and opportunities for on-site growth. Candidates must have a valid driver’s license and a HS diploma with 3 years of experience in

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver's license.
• Verifiable High School diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 3 years of maintenance experience.
• Experience in carpentry, electrical, plumbing, drywall and painting is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Follow Merakey policies and procedures.
• Report to Maintenance Manager and manage daily assignments.
• Attend mandatory trainings and staff meetings.
• Perform home and building maintenance across locations.
• Conduct walkthrough inspections and address repairs promptly.
• Work independently or with others on assigned projects.

We arecurrently seeking aMaintenance Technician to join our Facilities team. The technician will be responsible for locations throughout theGreater Philadelphia region, including NJ and DE.

Position Details

• Become familiar with the policies and procedures that is associated with Merakey. Comply with these policies and procedures in carrying out all aspects of the job.
• Be directly responsible and report to the Maintenance Manager
• Comply with work schedule. Call the program to report absence or lateness of work.
• Complete daily work assignments made by program supervisor.
• Attend periodic staff meetings and mandatory in-service trainings.
• Uphold the missions, values and philosophy for Service of Merakey and uphold the general standard of professional conduct that relates to the position.
• Assume on-call coverage for emergency maintenance responsibilities.
• Able to work with Power tools and equipment safely and efficiently.
• Proficient performing desk and furniture repair
• Proficient performing surface preparation and paint
• Proficient performing wall and ceiling tile repair
• Proficient performing electrical repairs.
• Proficient performing roof repairs
• Proficient performing repairs to the HVAC system, ongoing maintenance
• Proficient performing parking lot repair and maintenance
• Proficient performing plumbing repair and maintenance
• Proficient performing lock repairs
• Proficient performing necessary renovations and upgrades to the physical plant.
• Proficient performing all types of home and building maintenance.
• Perform walkthrough inspections of sites, report and address repairs in a timely manner.
• Perform assigned projects while working with other or independently.

Earn up to $24/hour in this position.
