Job summary

thyssenkrupp is seeking a maintenance technician to inspect, diagnose, repair, and perform preventive maintenance on machinery and mechanical equipment on the warehouse floor in Park City, KS. The role includes supporting health, safety, quality, and Lean initiatives while coordinating with external contractors when needed.

This full-time position requires 3–5 years of industrial maintenance experience and a technical degree or certificate.

  • Technical degree or certificate in a related field.
  • Ability to read blueprints and shop drawings.

Responsibilities

Job Description
Key Accountabilities:
  • Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical, mechanical, and similar problems on machinery/equipment and perform timely repairs.
  • Establish appropriate frequency and perform regular preventive maintenance activities on all machinery/equipment in the facility.
  • Perform timely facility/building maintenance and minor repairs, and maintain a clean and safe work area.
  • Dismantle defective machines/equipment and install new or repaired equipment.
  • Maintain accurate records of all inspections, tests, and repairs.
  • Coordinate and make recommendations on work-related contracts and services.
  • Supervise outside contractors when needed for mechanical and electrical repairs and maintenance.
  • Participate, support, and comply with all health, safety, quality, and Lean initiatives and requirements.
  • This is a position that works directly on the warehouse floor around heavy machinery.
