Job summary

DOC Services Inc. in Kentucky is seeking an experienced electro-mechanical maintenance technician to support production equipment and perform repairs on mechanical and electrical systems.

Responsibilities include reading electrical schematics and mechanical drawings, performing basic electrical troubleshooting, repairing brake presses and related machinery, and sourcing replacement components while adhering to Arc Flash and electrical safety protocols. Forklift experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Must have 3-5 years prior electro-mechanical maintenance and troubleshooting experience.

Responsibilities

• Read electrical schematics and mechanical drawings to diagnose issues.
• Perform basic electrical troubleshooting and repairs on equipment.
• Repair various equipment, drilling, tapping, bolt removal, conduit and pipe work, and sourcing replacement components.

Description

• Mechanical brake press experience preferred.
• Must demonstrate working knowledge of pneumatics, hydraulics, electronics, electrical troubleshooting, and mechanical proficiency of cam-driven, and servo-driven equipment.
• Must be able to read electrical schematics and mechanical drawings and perform basic electrical troubleshooting. Must be able to effectively communicate problems and potential issues.
• Must be proficient in safety protocols such as Arc Flash and electrical safety systems.
• Must be proficient in the repair of various equipment, drilling, tapping, bolt removal, conduit and pipe bending and threading, and sourcing replacement components.

Requirements

• Mechanical brake press experience preferred.
• Candidate must have 3-5 years prior experience in electro-mechanical maintenance and troubleshooting.
• Minimum of 1-year Forklift experience
• Attention to detail.
• Available to work OT when needed.
• Team player
• General math skills and ability to read a tape measure.
