Job summary

All Jobs in the Tatamy area is seeking a competent electro-mechanical technician to maintain and repair brake presses and related equipment. You will read schematics and drawings, diagnose electrical and mechanical issues, and implement safe repair procedures in a manufacturing setting.

Ideal candidates have 3–5 years in electro-mechanical maintenance, forklift experience, and strong attention to detail. OT may be required to keep production lines running smoothly.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years electro-mechanical maintenance and troubleshooting experience.
• Includes basic electrical troubleshooting and reading schematics.
• Experience with cam-driven and servo-driven equipment is preferred.
• Proficient in safety protocols such as Arc Flash and electrical safety.
• Ability to source replacement components for repairs.

Responsibilities

• Mechanical brake press experience preferred.
• Demonstrates knowledge of pneumatics, hydraulics, electronics, and troubleshooting.
• Reads electrical schematics and mechanical drawings; performs basic electrical troubleshooting.
• Adheres to safety protocols such as Arc Flash and electrical safety systems.
• Repairs equipment including drilling, tapping, conduit bending, and sourcing parts.

Description

• Mechanical brake press experience preferred.
• Must demonstrate working knowledge of pneumatics, hydraulics, electronics, electrical troubleshooting, and mechanical proficiency of cam-driven, and servo-driven equipment.
• Must be able to read electrical schematics and mechanical drawings and perform basic electrical troubleshooting. Must be able to effectively communicate problems and potential issues.
• Must be proficient in safety protocols such as Arc Flash and electrical safety systems.
• Must be proficient in the repair of various equipment, drilling, tapping, bolt removal, conduit and pipe bending and threading, and sourcing replacement components.

Requirements

• Mechanical brake press experience preferred.
• Candidate must have 3-5 years prior experience in electro-mechanical maintenance and troubleshooting.
• Minimum of 1-year Forklift experience
• Attention to detail.
• Available to work OT when needed.
• Team player
• General math skills and ability to read a tape measure.
