Job summary

EOS Hospitality LLC is seeking a Maintenance Engineer for Embassy Suites Myrtle Beach in Myrtle Beach, SC. The role covers maintenance of guest rooms, public spaces, and back-of-the-house areas with a second shift that includes weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities include carpentry, plumbing, electrical work, HVAC and painting, plus preventive maintenance and keeping records of repairs. PTO, health benefits, 401(k) with company match, life insurance, and other employee benefits are offered.

Description

As a Maintenance Engineer, you will maintain the physical functionality of the facility including our guest rooms, public space and heart-of-the-house areas. Specifically, you would be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:

Responsibilities

• Performs a variety of repairs and maintenance tasks including carpentry, plumbing, electric, painting, HVAC and masonry.
• Inspect guestrooms, public space, back-of-the-house, and heart-of-the-house for areas to repair, touch up or replace.
• Repairs, or replace items such as light bulbs, lamps, switches, outlets, faucets, toilets, hardware, filters, paint, furniture, wall coverings, caulking, grouting or other miscellaneous items.
• Assists other department team members in the systematic application of the preventive maintenance program.
• Makes records of repairs made, reports completed repairs, or places areas needing further attention or a room 'out of order.

This is a full-time, year-round position working at the Embassy Suites Myrtle Beach. Second Shift schedule required,including weekends and holidays.
