Hilton Myrtle Beach Resort seeks a skilled Maintenance Technician for the Kingston Resorts property in Myrtle Beach. This full-time, year-round role operates on 2nd shift, including weekends and holidays, and offers benefits such as PTO, health plans, and a company match for retirement.

You will perform carpentry, plumbing, electrical, painting, HVAC and masonry repairs; inspect guestrooms and public spaces; document repairs; and assist with the preventive maintenance program to keep the resort

Qualifications

• 1 year+ experience as Maintenance Technician (or equivalent).
• Ability to perform carpentry, plumbing, electrical, painting, HVAC and masonry repairs.
• Inspect guestrooms and public spaces for repair needs; document findings.

Responsibilities

• Performs repairs in carpentry, plumbing, electric, painting, HVAC and masonry.
• Inspect guestrooms, public space, back-of-the-house for areas to repair, touch up or replace.
• Repairs or replaces items such as light bulbs, switches, outlets, faucets, toilets, hardware, filters, paint, furniture or caulking.
• Assist other department teams in the preventive maintenance program.
• Maintain records of repairs and report needs or rooms out of order.

The Kingston Resorts is a 145-acre oceanfront resort on the north-end of Myrtle Beach. Less than 2 miles from Tanger Outlets and a short 20-minute trip to Broadway at the Beach. Responsibilities

• Performs a variety of repairs and maintenance tasks including carpentry, plumbing, electric, painting, HVAC and masonry.
• Inspect guestrooms, public space, back-of-the-house, and heart-of-the-house for areas to repair, touch up or replace.
• Repairs, or replace items such as light bulbs, lamps, switches, outlets, faucets, toilets, hardware, filters, paint, furniture, wall coverings, caulking, grouting or other miscellaneous items.
• Assists other department team members in the systematic application of the preventive maintenance program.
• Makes records of repairs made, reports completed repairs, or places areas needing further attention or a room 'out of order.'
