Job summary

Hilton Myrtle Beach Resort is seeking a Maintenance Technician for a full-time, year-round 2nd shift position. Responsibilities include repairs across carpentry, plumbing, electrical, HVAC and masonry, with inspections of guestrooms, public spaces, back-of-house areas, and records of maintenance work.

Qualifications

• Experience performing repairs in hotel or hospitality settings.
• Ability to repair or replace items such as light bulbs, switches, outlets, faucets, toilets, hardware, and fixtures.

Responsibilities

• Perform repairs across carpentry, plumbing, electrical, painting, HVAC and masonry.
• Inspect guestrooms, public spaces, back-of-house and heart-of-the-house for needed repairs or replacement.
• Repair or replace light bulbs, lamps, switches, outlets, faucets, toilets, hardware, filters, paint and furniture as required.
• Assist other departments with the preventive maintenance program.
• Document repairs and flag areas needing further attention or room out of order.

Responsibilities

• Performs a variety of repairs and maintenance tasks including carpentry, plumbing, electric, painting, HVAC and masonry.
• Inspect guestrooms, public space, back-of-the-house, and heart-of-the-house for areas to repair, touch up or replace.
• Repairs, or replace items such as light bulbs, lamps, switches, outlets, faucets, toilets, hardware, filters, paint, furniture, wall coverings, caulking, grouting or other miscellaneous items.
• Assists other department team members in the systematic application of the preventive maintenance program.
• Makes records of repairs made, reports completed repairs, or places areas needing further attention or a room 'out of order.'
