Job summary

Embassy Suites Myrtle Beach is seeking a full-time Housekeeper for the Myrtle Beach location. The role involves cleaning guest bedrooms and bathrooms, maintaining cleanliness in corridors, and restocking amenities to ensure a comfortable guest stay.

• Vacuum rooms and corridors
• Change and replenish bed linen, towels, and guest amenities
• Undertake regular deep cleaning tasks
• Restock and maintain trolley daily
• Report missing or damaged items to Housekeeping Supervisor and arrange replacements
• Ensure equipment in guest rooms and work areas is in working condition
• Be environmentally aware and dispose of waste appropriately
• Manage guest requests promptly and professionally
• Follow hotel security, fire regulations and health and safety legislation
• Carry out lost property procedures
• Assist other departments and maintain good working relationships

Description

The Kingston Resorts is a 145-acre oceanfront resort on the north-end of Myrtle Beach. Less than 2 miles from Tanger Outlets and a short 20-minute trip to Broadway at the Beach. Responsibilities

• Clean guest bedrooms and bathrooms
• Vacuum rooms and corridors
• Change and replenish bed linen, towels, and guest amenities in line with company guidelines
• Undertake regular deep cleaning tasks
• Restock and maintain trolley on a daily basis
• Report any missing or damaged items to the Housekeeping Supervisor and own the responsibility to ensure that the items are replaced or repaired so as to create an uninterrupted or impaired stay for the Guest
• Ensure that all equipment inside and around Guest rooms as well as in work areas and used when performing housekeeping responsibilities is in working condition
• Be environmentally aware
• Dispose of waste accordingly
• Manage guest requests in a timely and efficient manner
• Comply with hotel security, fire regulations, and all health and safety legislation
• Carry out lost property procedures
• Assist other departments wherever necessary and maintain good working relationships

Compensation: $16.00 per hour

This is a full-time, year-round position working at Embassy Suites Myrtle Beach. 1st shift schedule is required, including weekends and holidays.
