Frank Calandra Jennmar Services in Pennsylvania is seeking a Maintenance Technician with 1–2 years maintenance experience and a high school diploma or GED, plus valid driver's license, to support plant equipment and facilities.

Responsibilities include safety evaluations, routine and preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on cranes, mills, lathes, and pneumatic/hydraulic systems, with emphasis on safe operations and QA.

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or GED and a valid driver's license.
• 1–2 years of maintenance-related experience.
• 24–36 months on-the-job training required.

Responsibilities

• Conduct a safety evaluation of the work area before maintenance actions.
• Perform routine and preventive maintenance on buildings, grounds, machines, and equipment; calibrate pneumatics as needed.
• Handle minor to major repairs as required, following SOPs and safety guidelines.
• Operate and monitor mechanical equipment via computerized controls.
• Maintain clean workspaces after maintenance and repairs.

Education & Experience Requirements

• High School Diploma/GED and Valid Driver’s License Required
• One to Two Years of Maintenance-Related Experience Required
• Twenty-Four to Thirty-Six Months On-The-Job Training Required

Qualifications

• Dependability to be consistently at work on time, with ability to work 40+ flexible schedule as required
• Ability to read and comprehend written instructions; follow verbal directives; follow general and maintenance-specific safety procedures and guidelines.
• Functional mathematical ability, including knowledge of fractions and decimals to perform basic math calculations and measurement computing using tape measure and/or micrometers
• Functional mechanical knowledge with the ability to develop good fabricating and troubleshooting skills, including pneumatic and hydraulic systems
• Working knowledge of operational functions for general maintenance equipment, including cranes, forklifts, milling machines, lathes. Welding and cutting equipment, and hand/power tools
• Basic computer skills
• A “Team Member” mentality with a QA/Safety-oriented mindset when performing maintenance duties or operational instruction

Responsibilities

• Conduct a safety evaluation of the work area prior to performing maintenance actions
• Perform at a training-level capacity inside/outside, routine maintenance, or preventive maintenance actions for building(s), grounds, machines, and equipment following standard operating and safety procedures. Maintenance actions include setup actions for product runs; troubleshooting, repairing, and installing machinery/equipment; calibrating and repairing pneumatic systems; inspection of belts, fluid levels, filters, bearings, seals, etc.; providing corrective actions as required.
• Perform at a training- level capacity inside/outside, minor/major emergency repairs asrequiredfor building(s), grounds, machines, and equipment following the standard operating and safety measures.
• Perform at a training-level capacity, computerized control, and monitoring of mechanical equipment
• Perform housekeeping actions adhering to post-maintenance/repair procedures
