Job summary

Frank Calandra Jennmar Services in Earlington, KY is seeking a Maintenance Technician for 2nd shift (3pm–11pm). The role requires a high school diploma or GED, a valid driver’s license, and 1–2 years of maintenance experience with 24–36 months of on-the-job training.

You will handle safety evaluations, routine and preventive maintenance, and repairs across machinery and facilities, using a range of tools and equipment with attention to QA standards.

Qualifications

• Twenty-four to thirty-six months on-the-job training required.
• Read and comprehend written instructions and follow safety procedures.
• Ability to perform basic math calculations with measurements using tape measures or micrometers.

• Experience with cranes, forklifts, milling machines, lathes, welding and cutting equipment, and hand/power tools.
• Basic computer skills and a team/QA-oriented mindset.

Responsibilities

• Conduct a safety evaluation of work area prior to maintenance actions.
• Perform routine or preventive maintenance on buildings, grounds, machines, and equipment; setup actions for product runs; troubleshoot and repair.
• Repair and install machinery; calibrate pneumatic systems and inspect belts, fluids, bearings, seals.
• Provide corrective actions and assist with major/minor repairs as needed.
• Operate and monitor computerized control systems; maintain clean, safe work environments.

Responsibilities

• Conduct a safety evaluation of work area prior to performing maintenance actions
• Perform at a training-level capacity inside/outside, routine maintenance, or preventive maintenance actions for building(s), grounds, machines, and equipment following standard operating and safety procedures. Maintenance actions include setup actions for product runs; troubleshooting, repairing, and installing machinery/equipment; calibrating and repairing pneumatic systems; inspection of belts, fluid levels, filters, bearings, seals, etc.; and providing corrective actions as required.
• Perform at a training- level capacity inside/outside, minor/major emergency repairs as required for building(s), grounds, machines, and equipment following the standard operating and safety measures.
• Perform at a training-level capacity, computerized control, and monitoring of mechanical equipment
• Perform housekeeping actions adhering to post-maintenance/repair procedures
