TS Conductor is a startup company focused on reducing the carbon footprint in the world.The Maintenance Technician is responsible for performing routine maintenance on industrial machines to ensure optimal performance, minimize downtime, and extend equipment life. Maintenance Technician is responsible for performing repair and routine preventive maintenance tasks in one or more fields (e.g., carpentry, electrical, heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC), plumbing, etc.) as well as general cleaning and other miscellaneous tasks as assigned

Essential Functions
  • Diagnose equipment failures - root cause and communicate required actions across relevant teams. Perform major equipment repairs,rebuilds and installations
  • Perform Corrective Maintenance (repairs) on more than one of these types of equipment: Electrical systems ranging from 24 VDC to 480 VAC 3phase, Mechanical systems and Hydraulics.
  • Conduct regular preventive maintenance inspections to identify and address potential problems before they escalate.
  • Perform scheduled preventative maintenance tasks on machines and equipment including lubrication, inspection, cleaning, calibration, and part replacement.
  • Assist in installing, assembling, and setting up new machinery or equipment as needed.
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance work performed, including parts used and time taken.
  • Collaborate with operators and other technicians to identify recurring issues and suggest improvements.
  • Collaborate with Supervisor / Manager and other team members to prioritize maintenance needs and coordinate repair efforts.
  • Organize and manage spare parts and tooling inventory.
  • Follow all safety protocols and ensure machinery complies with safety standards.
  • Use maintenance management systems (CMMS) to track tasks and maintenance history.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
Other skills/abilities
  • Technical Knowledge: Working knowledge of mechanical systems, pneumatics, hydraulics, and industrial machinery.
  • Reading & Interpretation: Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics.
  • Tool Proficiency: Skilled in the safe use of hand and powertools; forklift or scissor lift certification preferred.
  • Maintenance Systems: Familiarity with CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) software is a plus.
  • Problem-Solving: Strong troubleshooting ability in both mechanical and electrical systems, with attention to detail.
  • Fabrication Skills: Basic welding or fabrication experience desirable.
  • Safety Practices: Knowledge of maintenance safety protocols (e.g., LOTO, 5S) and commitment to safe work practices.
  • Work Style: Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.
  • Flexibility: Willingness to work weekends and respond to emergencies when needed.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or GED required
  • 1–3 years of experience in machinery maintenance or related role.
  • Prior experience with OSHA standards is a plus
  • Strong organizational and record-keeping skills
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and operate material handling equipment
Training and Experience
  • Computer skills and familiarity with Microsoft Office (Word/Excel)
  • Forklift certification is a plus
