Job summary

ABM Industries Inc. is seeking a Maintenance Technician in Minneapolis, MN. You will perform carpentry, painting, event setup and takedown, and minor electrical/plumbing repairs while keeping the facility maintained and safe.

Typical shift is Mon-Fri 8am-4:30pm with a comprehensive benefits package. Pay ranges from $26 to $30 per hour and offers will reflect experience and location.

Qualifications

• Duties include carpentry, painting, event setup and takedown.
• Perform minor electrical and plumbing repairs as needed.
• Maintain building property and arrange equipment as required.
• Conduct regular site inspections and report faults via proper channels.
• Ensure safe and economical use of equipment and cleaning materials.

Job description

The Maintenance technician is responsible for: carpentry, painting, event set up and take downs, miscellaneous minor electrical work and minor plumbing repairs; ensuring all building property is properly maintained; furniture moving, arrangement, placement of equipment, etc.; carrying out frequent checks of all areas, reporting any faults using the correct procedure; ensuring the safe, correct and economical use of equipment and cleaning materials. Performing other maintenance duties, as needed. Performs inspections and repairs to assigned property interior and exterior areas, including walls and flooring, installed fixtures, roofing systems, lighting, etc.

Pay: $26 - $30 per hour
