Job summary

Union Depot in Minneapolis, MN is seeking a Maintenance technician to perform carpentry, painting, event setup, and minor electrical/plumbing repairs. You will ensure proper maintenance of building property, move furniture, and report faults through proper channels.

Safely use equipment and cleaning materials during daily tasks. The position typically follows a Mon-Fri 8am–4:30pm schedule, with pay ranging from $26 to $30 per hour.

Job description

The Maintenance technician is responsible for: carpentry, painting, event set up and take downs, miscellaneous minor electrical work and minor plumbing repairs; ensuring all building property is properly maintained; furniture moving, arrangement, placement of equipment, etc.; carrying out frequent checks of all areas, reporting any faults using the correct procedure; ensuring the safe, correct and economical use of equipment and cleaning materials. Performing other maintenance duties, as needed. Performs inspections and repairs to assigned property interior and exterior areas, including walls and flooring, installed fixtures, roofing systems, lighting, etc.

Pay: $26 - $30 per hour
