Job summary

Courtyard Midland is seeking a Maintenance Technician to care for the property's physical status, addressing maintenance issues in guest rooms and building systems, including machinery, AC, refrigerators, and more to ensure a comfortable stay.

Responsibilities include repairing furniture, painting, plumbing, servicing PTAC units, cleaning, preventative maintenance, and supporting other departments as needed.

Qualifications

• Must be able to work shifts as scheduled.
• Capable of working with minimal supervision while maintaining high standards.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.

• Repair case goods (nightstands, beds, desks, dressers).
• Paint, caulk, plumbing issues; repair PTAC units.
• Clean carpets, linens, walls; perform preventative maintenance.
• Assist other departments as needed; maintain inventory and records.

Maintenance Technician

Maintenance Technician responsibilities include all aspects of maintaining the physical status of the property. You will address any maintenance issues in the rooms or to the building itself including machinery, air conditioning units, refrigerators, etc.… Ultimately, you will ensure a pleasant and comfortable experience for our guests during their stay with us.

Responsibilities

• Repair case goods such as nightstands, beds, desks and dressers
• Painting, caulking, plumbing issues
• Repair PTAC units
• Clean carpets, linens, walls as needed
• Perform preventative maintenance
• Assist other departments as needed
• Clean common areas, restrooms, and hallways as directed
• Maintain inventory and keep accurate records of repairs
• Follow hotel security guidelines
• Get permission from supervisor or manager before clocking out

Requirements

Required

• Flexibility to work in shifts and report for scheduled shifts
• Ability to work with little or no supervision while meeting high-performance standards
• Excellent organization skills
• Ability to follow instructions

Preferred

• High School Diploma
• Work experience as a Maintenance Technician in a Hospitality setting
• Experience with hotel brand requirements

Compensation: $17.00 - $18.00 per hour, paid bi-weekly
