Hampton Inn - Madison East, WI is seeking a Maintenance Technician to keep guest rooms and the building in top condition. The role covers repair of furniture, HVAC components, plumbing, and general upkeep to ensure a pleasant stay for guests.

The ideal candidate has high school education, basic hospitality maintenance experience, and the ability to work independently with strong organizational skills while following hotel procedures.

Responsibilities

• Repair case goods such as nightstands, beds, desks and dressers.
• Painting, caulking, plumbing issues.
• Repair PTAC units/air conditioners.
• Clean carpets, linens, walls as needed.
• Perform preventative maintenance.
• Assist other departments as needed.
• Clean common areas, restrooms, and hallways as directed.
• Maintain inventory and keep accurate records of repairs.
• Follow hotel security guidelines.
• Get permission from supervisor or manager before clocking out.

Maintenance Technician

Maintenance Technician responsibilities include all aspects of maintaining the physical status of the property. You will address any maintenance issues in the rooms or to the building itself including machinery, air conditioning units, refrigerators, etc.… Ultimately, you will ensure a pleasant and comfortable experience for our guests during their stay with us.

Essential Functions
