Job summary

Brookside Properties in Memphis, TN is seeking a Maintenance Technician to service Woodglen Village Apartments. You will maintain apartment homes, buildings, and common areas, handle service requests, and prepare turns for new residents.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of multifamily maintenance, HVAC experience, and EPA Type II or Universal certification. Excellent communication and a commitment to safety are essential; on-call rotations may apply and company benefits include health coverage,

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 5+ years of maintenance experience in multifamily housing.
• HVAC experience required; EPA Type II/Universal certification.
• Knowledge of electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and building systems.
• Ability to respond to after-hours emergencies.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Maintain apartment homes, buildings, and common areas.
• Complete service requests efficiently and professionally.
• Prepare vacant units for move-in (turns/make-readies).
• Troubleshoot and repair HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and appliances.
• Participate in an on-call rotation for after-hours emergencies.
• Maintain tools, supplies, and safety standards.
