Job description

Work Schedule

100% FTE, evenings/nights. 40 hours Sunday through Saturday from 5:15 pm to 06:30 am. Three days on and four days off each week based on operational needs. You will work at the University Hospital and American Family Children's Hospital in Madison, WI.

Pay

Additional components of compensation may include:

Job Description

We are seeking a Maintenance Technician to:

  • Maintain heating and air conditioning equipment, emergency power systems, medical gas distribution and supply systems, food service equipment, and hospital life support systems for direct and indirect patient use.
  • Perform diagnosis and repair equipment in emergency situations, monitor and make adjustments to the building(s) environment and lighting using a computerized building automation system, and monitor and adjust computerized, intelligent fire alarm systems.

Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or GED Required
  • Two (2) year Technical diploma Preferred
Work Experience
  • 2 years of maintenance experience or formal training, in a healthcare setting Preferred
