HILLS Properties has an exciting opportunity for a full-time Maintenance Technician at Meridian on Shelbyville, a luxury apartment community in Louisville, KY. The role includes on-call evenings and weekends, with a strong focus on maintaining all areas of the property and completing resident service requests.

A typical day involves HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and small appliance repairs, with ongoing training and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• HVAC certification preferred, but not required.
• Valid drivers license and reliable transportation.
• Thorough working knowledge of building maintenance.
• Clear, both oral and written, communication.
• Basic mathematical functions.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and maintain outdoor grounds, including pool area, in a safe condition.
• Inspect vacated units and assist with make-ready (painting, drywall, carpet).c/p>
• Perform work orders and repairs including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and small appliances.
• Inspect/log building lights, smoke detectors, sprinkler systems and furnace filters and replace as needed.
• Represent Hills with a professional, positive outlook toward teammates and residents.

HILLS Properties has an exciting opportunity for a full-time Maintenance Technician to join the team at one of our luxury apartment communities, Meridian on Shelbyville, in Louisville, Kentucky!

This is a regular, full-time position with some evening and weekend on call hours required.

As a maintenance technician, we will keep you busy! You play a key role in upholding our high standards and reputation by maintaining all areas of the property and performing service requests for residents. A typical day could include HVAC, electrical, small appliances, and plumbing repairs.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
