Job summary

HILLS Properties seeks a full-time Maintenance Technician for its Graphite Oakley community in Cincinnati, Ohio. The role requires hands-on maintenance across HVAC, electrical, plumbing and related systems, with on-call hours including some evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities include making-ready units, inspecting grounds and safety systems, and performing repairs to uphold the property's high standards. A positive team player attitude and reliable transportation are essential.

Qualifications

• HVAC certification preferred, but not required.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Thorough working knowledge of building maintenance.
• Able to communicate clearly, both orally and written.
• Able to perform basic mathematical functions.
• Knowledgeable and skilled in the safe use and maintenance of hand tools.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and maintain all outdoor grounds areas, including pool area, in a safe, attractive condition.
• Inspect vacated units and perform make-ready, including painting, dry-wall, and carpet cleaning.
• Perform work orders and repairs, including HVAC, electrical, small appliances, and plumbing repairs.
• Inspect/log building lights, smoke detectors, sprinkler systems and furnace filters; replace as needed.

HILLS Properties has an exciting opportunity for a full-time Maintenance Technician to join the team at one of our luxury apartment communities, Graphite Oakley, in Cincinnati, Ohio!

This is a regular, full-time position with some evening and weekend on call hours required.

As a maintenance technician, we will keep you busy! You play a key role in upholding our high standards and reputation by maintaining all areas of the property and performing service requests for residents. A typical day could include HVAC, electrical, small appliances, and plumbing repairs.
