Job summary

JSK Hospitality LLC is seeking a hands-on hotel maintenance technician to keep Courtyard by Marriott properties in top condition in Louisville, Kentucky. You will perform preventive maintenance on rooms, public areas, HVAC, plumbing, electrical, appliances, and equipment while responding quickly to guest requests.

This on-site role requires basic carpentry, plumbing, electrical knowledge, the ability to lift 50+ lbs and climb ladders, and flexibility for evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• Hands-on maintenance experience, hotel setting preferred.
• Basic plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and carpentry knowledge.
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs, climb ladders, and work in varied conditions.
• Basic computer skills for work-order systems.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance on rooms, public areas, HVAC, plumbing, electrical, appliances, and equipment.
• Respond promptly to work orders and guest-reported issues.
• Repair fixtures, furniture, and systems; paint and touch-up as needed.
• Maintain grounds, pool (if applicable), and exterior appearance.
• Ensure safety, fire, and life-safety systems compliance.
• Keep accurate logs, inventory of parts and tools, and coordinate vendors when required.
• Assist other departments during peaks or emergencies.
• Work flexible hours including on-call, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
