Premier Packaging is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician for the 2nd shift in Louisville, KY. The role involves routine preventive maintenance on corrugated manufacturing machinery, troubleshooting, and timely repairs to ensure high equipment availability.

Qualifications

• Minimum 18 years of age or older.
• Lift up to 25 lbs solo and 50 lbs with assistance.
• Technical education or certification in maintenance is a plus.
• Familiarity with corrugated manufacturing equipment and processes.
• Proficient in preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of machinery.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine preventive maintenance on corrugated manufacturing machinery.
• Follow schedules to ensure equipment reliability and longevity.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot issues to identify root causes.
• Repair malfunctioning equipment including part replacements.
• Collaborate with machine operators and supervisors.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs.
• Participate in equipment upgrade projects to enhance capabilities.

Essential Functions

• Execute routine preventive maintenance tasks on corrugated manufacturing machinery.
• Follow established schedules to ensure equipment reliability and longevity.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot issues with corrugated machinery to identify root causes.
• Conduct repairs on malfunctioning machinery, including replacing parts and components.
• Collaborate with machine operators, production supervisors, and other maintenance technicians.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and replacements.
• Participate in equipment upgrade projects to enhance machinery capabilities.
