Premier Packaging is seeking a maintenance technician for a 3rd shift in Indianapolis, IN. You will execute preventive maintenance on corrugated machinery, diagnose issues, and perform repairs to keep lines running smoothly.

Qualifications

• At least 18 years of age.
• Lift up to 25 lbs alone and up to 50 lbs assisted.
• Technical education or certification in maintenance is a plus.
• Familiarity with corrugated manufacturing equipment and processes.
• Proficient in preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair.
• Ability to read electrical schematics, diagrams, and blueprints.
• Ability to use hand and power tools.

Responsibilities

• Execute routine preventive maintenance tasks on corrugated manufacturing machinery.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot issues to identify root causes.
• Conduct repairs on malfunctioning machinery, including replacing parts and components.
• Collaborate with machine operators, production supervisors, and other maintenance technicians.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and replacements.
• Participate in equipment upgrade projects to enhance machinery capabilities.
