Job summary

Baker Hughes in Liberty, MO seeks a Maintenance Technician to troubleshoot, repair, and maintain industrial equipment, ensuring safe and efficient production. Qualifications

  • Have a High School Diploma or GED.
  • Have a certificate in Industrial Technology or a related field (preferred).
  • Have 3+ years of experience in a maintenance technician, maintenance mechanic, or millwright role.
  • Experience working with and repairing CNC machines, laser cutters, pneumatic systems, hydraulic systems, and electrical systems.
  • Demonstrated mechanical aptitude and strong troubleshooting skills.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.
  • Intermediate math, reading, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to install, evaluate, troubleshoot, and repair CNC machines and complex industrial equipment.
  • Experience installing, evaluating, and repairing pneumatic and hydraulic systems.
  • Ability to safely troubleshoot and repair electrical systems.
  • Experience operating maintenance tools and equipment, including welders, grinders, multimeters, drill presses, and saws.
  • Ability to safely operate powered industrial equipment such as forklifts and scissor lifts.
  • Basic computer skills and ability to use maintenance-related systems and programs.
  • Strong attention to detail with a commitment to quality, accuracy, and safety.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively with teams, supervisors, leadership, vendors, and visitors.
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds safely.
  • Willingness and flexibility to work overtime, alternative shifts, and weekends as required by business needs.

Maintenance Technician
