As a Maintenance Technician, you’ll play a crucial role in creating a well-maintained and welcoming community for our residents. Your expertise and dedication will enhance the property’s value while ensuring a safe, comfortable, and enjoyable living experience for everyone. This full-time, non-exempt position reports directly to the Property Manager.

What You’ll Own:

• Ensure timely and thorough completion of all resident service requests, including after-hours and emergency needs. Participate in an on-call rotation with the maintenance team.
• Execute unit turnovers and make-readies for new residents to meet move-in deadlines with high standards.
• Maintain the exterior and common areas of the community, including grounds, breezeways, and shared spaces, ensuring cleanliness and a welcoming environment.
• Perform swimming pool maintenance and ensure compliance with health and safety standards where applicable.
• Identify and address maintenance issues proactively to minimize disruptions and improve property efficiency.
• Adhere to OSHA standards and company safety policies; report hazards or safety concerns promptly.
• Use property resources, tools, and supplies efficiently and safely, maintaining equipment properly.
• Collaborate with the maintenance team and other departments to meet property goals and foster teamwork.
• Maintain a professional appearance with the required uniform.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.

What You’ll Bring:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Basic English communication skills for instructions and interactions.
• Previous maintenance experience, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and appliances, preferred.
• EPA Certification (Type I and II) preferred; may be required in some locations.
• Basic computer skills, including maintenance management software and email.
• Strong problem-solving skills and effective communication abilities.
• Physical ability to walk frequently, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, lift/move up to 50 lbs., and use a ladder.
• Reliable transportation and residence within 30 miles of the property for on-call duties.
