Job summary

The Hampton Inn Lewiston, proudly managed by Northwest x Southern Hospitality, is hiring a Maintenance Technician to support hotel operations with safe and well-maintained facilities, equipment, guest rooms, and public areas.

You will perform preventive maintenance, address repair requests, troubleshoot equipment issues, and uphold safety and quality standards while working in a fast-paced, team-driven environment. Evening and weekend shifts may apply as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; hospitality experience preferred.
• Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills; ability to work well in a team.
• Ability to obtain permits, licenses, or certificates as required.
• Up to 40 hours per week with varied shifts including nights, weekends, holidays, and overtime.

Summary:

This position is responsible for maintaining, repairing, and servicing hotel facilities, equipment, guest rooms, and public areas to ensure a safe, clean, and well-maintained environment. The Maintenance Technician performs preventive maintenance, completes repair requests, troubleshoots equipment issues, and supports overall hotel operations while following safety and quality standards.

Qualifications:

Candidates should have a high school diploma or equivalent, with previous hotel, restaurant, or hospitality experience preferred. Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills are important, along with the ability to work well in a team environment. Ability to obtain any government-required or brand-required permits, licenses, or certificates. Up to 40 hours per week with varied and flexible shifts/days, likely to include nights, weekends, holidays, and overtime.
