Job summary

Resolute Road Hospitality in Astoria, OR is seeking a Maintenance Tech to perform routine maintenance across the hotel's interior and exterior, ensure timely responses, and support guest safety. You'll work with the Maintenance Manager and teammates to keep guest rooms, public areas, and back‑of‑house spaces in good condition.

The role emphasizes pride in work, adherence to safety standards, and proactive care for hotel systems, including HVAC, electrical, and plumbing.

Responsibilities

• Complete assigned maintenance and repair tasks across the hotel’s interior and exterior areas.
• Walk the property regularly to inspect cleanliness, condition, and safety.
• Maintain working knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, mechanical, and shuttle vehicle systems.
• Respond to guest service requests and reported issues with professionalism and efficiency.
• Support pool and spa maintenance, including chemical testing and accurate logbook upkeep.
• Assist with inspections, preventative maintenance routines, and safety compliance tasks.
• Maintain clean and safe maintenance spaces and tools; monitor inventory of supplies and equipment.
• Report and elevate equipment failures, unsafe conditions, or guest-related concerns.
• Perform cleaning and upkeep in public areas such as hallways, stairwells, elevators, and service corridors.
• Support shuttle transportation needs when required (valid driver's license required).
• Follow company and brand standards, OSHA safety practices, and local codes.
• Perform other duties as assigned

Your Role

As a Maintenance Tech, you'll perform routine maintenance, complete repair work, and support the upkeep of guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces. You'll work closely with the Maintenance Manager and other team members to ensure timely responses to issues and proactive care for hotel systems.
