Job summary

Nolan Living in Lenexa, KS is seeking a hands-on Maintenance Technician to keep HVAC and building systems running smoothly. This full-time role reports to the Property Manager and requires 40 hours/week with on-site work and occasional after-hours emergencies.

You’ll perform preventive maintenance, inspections, and repairs, document service activity, and support renovation projects while ensuring safety and compliance. A strong team mindset is essential.

Qualifications

• HVAC certification preferred but not required; Type 2 or EPA Universal.
• 4+ years of maintenance experience, with at least 3 years in a trade-specific role.
• Ability to lift up to 70 lbs and work in physically demanding environments.
• Valid U.S. drivers license required.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on HVAC systems, mechanical systems, and building structures.
• Participate in on-call for after-hours emergencies.
• Troubleshoot and respond to service requests efficiently and professionally.
• Inspect equipment and facilities to ensure safety and operational readiness.
• Maintain tools, equipment, and inventory of supplies.
• Prepare reports, logs, and service documentation.
• Assist with renovation and construction projects as needed.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and company policies.
