Wyotech in Laramie seeks a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our Facilities team. You will perform preventive maintenance, repairs, and grounds work to keep our campus safe and fully operational.

The ideal candidate is hands-on, reliable, and enjoys solving problems in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities include coordinating with contractors, estimating repair times, and maintaining clean, organized work areas.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience in maintenance, construction, HVAC, electrical, carpentry, welding, or related trades.
• Punctual for scheduled shifts and reliable attendance.
• Comfort with physical workloads and field-based tasks.
• Strong organization and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Complete work and repairs in a timely fashion.
• Estimate time and extent of repairs.
• Perform routine preventive maintenance on commercial buildings.
• General ground maintenance including snow removal and lawn care.
• Coordinate with outside contractors as needed.
• Maintain clean, orderly, and functional facilities.
• Assist with other duties as assigned.

WyoTech is seeking a skilled and dependable Maintenance Technician to join our Facilities team. In this role, you will help ensure our campus remains safe, clean, and fully operational by performing preventive maintenance, repairs, and grounds maintenance across our facilities. The ideal candidate is hands-on, takes pride in delivering quality work, and enjoys solving problems in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Complete work and repair in a timely fashion
• Estimate time and extent of repairs
• Perform routine preventive maintenance on commercial buildings
• Perform general ground maintenance, snow removal, lawn mowing, weed control, etc
• Work with and/or oversee work performed by outside contractors as necessary
• Help keep buildings in a clean, orderly and functional condition
• Other duties as assigned

Associated Skills and Experience

• Ability to be punctual for scheduled shifts
• Previous experience in maintenance, construction, HVAC, electrical, carpentry, welding, plumbing, or other related trades
• Familiarity with maintenance tools and equipment including running snow removal equipment, skid steers, and scissor lifts
• Ability to handle physical workload
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
