Job summary

Valley Truck Parts in Wyoming, MI is seeking a Maintenance Technician to maintain and repair our facility systems, ensuring a safe, efficient workplace. The role covers routine inspections, minor installations, and support for new equipment.

You will work Monday through Friday, 7AM to 4PM with a one-hour lunch, reporting to the Maintenance Manager. A high school diploma or GED and experience in facilities are required.

  • Collaborate professionally with outside vendors, contractors, and service providers.
  • Fabricate, install, or modify equipment as required.
  • Ensure all work complies with safety regulations and company policies.
  • Respond promptly to emergency maintenance requests to minimize downtime.

MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN

Title: Maintenance Technician
Department: Maintenance
Reports to: Maintenance Manager

Working Hours: Monday through Friday, 7AM to 4PM with a 1 hour lunch break

Job Summary/Objective of Job

The Maintenance Technician is responsible for the maintenance, repair, and overall upkeep of the building and its systems, ensuring a safe, efficient, and functional work environment. This role includes performing routine inspections, addressing repair needs, and supporting the installation of new equipment.

Summary of Essential Job Functions

  • Perform routine inspections and maintenance on building systems, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical equipment.
