Position: Maintenance Technician - Kansas City, MO

Join our manufacturing team to perform preventative and reactive maintenance on processing and packaging equipment, providing technical support to optimize operations and processes.

Shift Hours:

• 8-hour shifts: 1st (7 am - 3 pm), 2nd (3 pm - 11 pm), 3rd (11 pm - 7 am)
• Training on 1st shift; subsequent rotation explained during interview
• Willingness to work overtime, including days, nights, weekends, and holidays, as plant operates 24/7

Pay:

• $24.10/hour starting, up to $30.87/hour based on skills and experience
• Internal pay increases up to $33.94/hour
• Shift differential: +$.55/hour for 2nd and 3rd shifts

Daily Responsibilities:

• Producing high-quality foods consumed nationwide
• Utilizing advanced technology in a leading facility

• Installing, maintaining, repairing machinery and tools
• Troubleshooting mechanical and electrical issues
• Performing preventative maintenance and participating in continuous improvement initiatives
• Training new employees

Candidate Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED
• At least 3 years in industrial maintenance or related field
• Basic mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills, familiarity with PLCs and electrical testing
• Experience with shop equipment preferred
• Ability to work independently and in teams, adaptable to changing priorities

Physical Requirements:

• Lift up to 50 lbs
• Perform physical tasks for extended periods
• Work at heights, wear protective gear
• Work in various environmental conditions and around moving machinery
• Handle allergens and adhere to grooming standards
