The Justus Companies is seeking a Maintenance Technician for Crestwood Village North, a 55 and Better community in Indianapolis, IN. The role requires hands-on maintenance experience and the ability to service and repair building systems.

Responsibilities include resident and vendor communications, basic handyman tasks, preventative maintenance, snow removal, and general duties as assigned. A high school diploma or GED is required, along with a valid Indiana driver’s license.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1 year of general maintenance experience or equivalent education/experience required; ability to recognize electrical, plumbing, and mechanical issues.
• Valid driver’s license and auto insurance in Indiana required.
• All maintenance team members must provide basic hand tools.
• HVAC experience preferred.
• Small appliance experience preferred.

Requirements and Experience qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required
• A minimum of 1 year experience in general maintenance or other maintenance responsibilities that would include the ability to recognize electrical, plumbing, and mechanical malfunctions or equipment failures is required OR a comparable combination of education and experience is required
• A valid driver’s license and automobile insurance that is in compliance with Indiana State law requiring automobile insurance is required
• All members of the maintenance team are required to provide basic hand tools.
