Job summary

Strongarm Designs in Horsham, PA is seeking a Maintenance Technician to maintain and repair large plant equipment at our Horsham facility. You will serve as the primary liaison with vendors to minimize downtime and support production, from simple light bulb changes to complex machinery repair.

The role requires operating a forklift, working with minimal supervision, and lifting up to 50 lbs; a valid driver’s license is needed.

Qualifications

• Forklift and scissor lift operation required.
• Ability to work with minimal direction or supervision.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Ability to interpret prints or technical drawings is a plus.
• Ability to stand for 2+ hours.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Perform and maintain schedule of facilities maintenance tasks, from light bulbs, HVAC filters, repairing leaking toilets etc.
• Assist with production where required depending on throughput constraints.
• Schedule and keep vehicle feet in good working order including box trucks, truck, forklifts
• Track supplies and maintain stock of common consumables required for facilities maintenance.
• Ensure compressed air systems, dust collection units, and exhaust systems are functioning properly
• Perform work within the perimeters of the company policies and procedures.
• Willingness to learn and receive training on complex equipment such as Trumpf laser, HASS milling machines etc.
• Diagnose and suggest fixes for shop equipment

JOB DESCRIPTION:

This position serves as a primary point of contact between production personnel and vendors to reduce downtime of large plant equipment. The Maintenance Technician will have a range of responsibilities from changing light bulbs to repairing complex industrial equipment

RESPONSIBILITIES:
