Job summary

Manpower, Inc. is seeking a Maintenance Technician for its Jonestown, PA location on a first shift (7am-3pm). You will repair, maintain, and inspect a range of mechanical, electrical, and facility systems to support uptime and safety.

The ideal candidate has basic knowledge of machines, tools, materials, and engineering concepts, with strong communication and teamwork skills to document and coordinate maintenance tasks.

Qualifications

• Basic knowledge of machines and tools, including their designs, uses, repair, and maintenance.
• Basic knowledge of raw materials, production processes, quality control, costs, and techniques for maximizing effective manufacture and distribution.
• Basic knowledge of the practical application of engineering science and technology.
• Team player attitude with strong attention to detail.
• Creativity plus strong verbal and written communication skills to support maintenance documentation and coordination.

Responsibilities

• Repair or replace defective equipment parts using hand tools and power tools, then reassemble equipment.
• Perform routine preventive maintenance to keep machines running smoothly and building systems operating efficiently.
• Inspect drives, motors, and belts; check fluid levels; replace filters; and complete maintenance actions using checklists.
• Assemble, install, or repair wiring, electrical and electronic components, pipe systems, plumbing, machinery, and equipment.
• Inspect, operate, and test machinery and equipment to diagnose malfunctions; record type and cost of maintenance or repair work.
