Responsibilities:
- Excellent employment opportunity for a Maintenance Technician III in the Fremont, CA area.
- Provides technical support, assists in coordinating maintenance work activities, and follows established priorities to meet maintenance needs.
- Ability to troubleshoot across most site mechanical technologies.
- Resolves issues and improves operations by making necessary logic changes, recommending and executing equipment upgrades, and assisting in developing new processes and procedures.
- Performs maintenance and corrective actions on production, facility, and utility equipment.
- Maintains equipment by troubleshooting to ensure reliable performance that meets expectations, including adjusting, repairing, and replacing components.
- Performs preventive, corrective, or emergency work orders and responds to service calls, including off-shift periods and weekends.
- Replaces electrical or powered components, including multiple phase motors, during corrective work.
- Assists in troubleshooting to understand deviations from proper operation.
- Supports testing protocols independently or under engineering direction, ensuring documentation is accurate and complete.
- Documents activities to support maintenance best practices and continuous improvement activities.
- Analyzes measurement data to ensure proper documentation, adherence to procedures, and correct use of standards.
- Executes test protocols developed by self or others to qualify new and existing equipment.
- Ensures equipment/system documentation is properly maintained in the Enterprise Asset Management System (EAM).
- Schedule: 2nd Shift: Wednesday to Saturday, 12:00 PM - 10:30 PM
Experience:
- High School Diploma (or equivalent)
- Experience in instrumentation, measurement, control, and troubleshooting technologies.
- Minimum of two years' experience with mechanical maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting.
- Understanding of equipment start-up and project support.
- Working knowledge of schematics, P&ID drawings, and ISA symbols and numbering.
- Ability to maintain, troubleshoot, and repair mechanical systems effectively.
- Electrical, mechanical, and technical aptitude required.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to maintain accurate records and learn relevant procedures and regulatory requirements.
- Attention to detail, safety, quality, and customer requirements.
- High personal motivation and initiative.
- Flexibility to adapt to daily work changes and a continuously improving environment.
- Decision-making within operating policies and procedures.
Physical Demands / Surroundings
- Work outdoors in various weather conditions, climb stairs and ladders, work in awkward positions, and in sterile or hazardous environments with proper PPE.
- Manual lifting of components, parts, equipment, and tools; items over 50 pounds generally require assistance.
- Occasional heavier lifts due to workspace constraints.
- Follow safety protocols, SOPs, cGMPs, and documentation standards.
- Work off-shift and weekends as needed.
